- Are you sick of the taste of sugary commercial electrolyte drinks? Here is an electrolyte drink you can try to make at home. I’ve tried it and give it thumbs up!! It is so easy to make! Try it out and let everyone know how you like them below. They are both from The No-Meat Athlete Cookbook by Matt Frazier & Stepfanie Romani
- Here is a useful article to really get into dreaded foam rolling. Try to make it a habit to foam roll every day. I have integrated it into my daily morning routine: I wake up about an hour before every one else in the house to get my alone time. I started this 4 years ago when my youngest was a baby. It was hard to get up so early and I probably needed to sleep a bit longer but the benefit for me was to get som quiet time to foam roll, do some gentle long stretches and not the least, reflect on life. Morning routine sets me off for a balanced start for the day and my muscles get their little massage they sorely need- every single day! I should knock on wood now when i say this: i have been injury free for years now and i believe it is due foam rolling every single day AND my targeted strength training plan. So without any more blaah blaah, here it is! https://blog.nasm.org/training-benefits/foam-rolling-applying-the-technique-of-self-myofascial-release/
Amazing!
